Glacier Peak is one of the 5 big volcanic mountains in Washington. It’s probably the most remote place on the entire trail, and it’s absolutely the best place I encountered the entire trip. If you can only do a small section of the trail, this stretch from Stevens Pass to Lake Chelan should be it.
