The weights above are all listed in ounces.
Things are still a work in progress, but this is 99% of it. My current base weight (everything except food, water, fuel and worn clothing) for the desert is 11.79 lbs, and I’m aiming for 12.5 pounds once everything is accounted for and tallied. The remainder of my base weight will be maps, first aid, 2 1L water bottles and toiletries. All told, I’ve cut half my pack weight in half since hiking the JMT.
I’m hiking in Altra Lone Peak 2.5 trail runners and using Black Diamond Trail Back trekking poles.
Nice list! Looks like a winner this time! No more old school tube tent?
No more! I’m loving the TarpTent for sure.
